Bernie Madoff.....Modern Hitler/Conman

I'm not really a big believer in the death penalty, unless of course your crime is so heinous that you should die. Like Child molesters, Serial killers, you know people who INTEND to hurt and have no remorse for their actions.
Like Bernie Madoff.
He is the modern version of Adolf Hitler. To some that may sound a little absurd, but its not if you really think about it. He didn't physically kill anyone, but he did ruin MANY, MANY lives.
Adolf Hitler's rise to power began in September 1919 when Hitler joined the political party that was known as the Deutsche Arbeiterpartei. His goals were set in stone, I think we all know that. No need for history 101.
So were Madoff's. He knew what he was doing from day one. He played with people's lives and had no remorse. A friendly face, trusting, and kind, then he bled you for all you had. I have watched several shows on TV of the people he stole from, elderly couples, widows, left with nothing. NOTHING.
He financially crippled thousands of people, who in there golden years should just be worried about where they are going to vacation for a week, not wonder where there next meal is coming from. So he gets 150 years behind bars. Does that really fit this crime? Life in jail for ruing thousands of lives?
I guess I have to give him some credit, in a demented way he was actually a very smart man. But all criminals get caught. Usually because they get greedy.
Well I know I'm not the judge and jury, but soon you will have to answer to the real one Bernie.
