First off, I'm not a front runner. You know one of those guys who all the sudden loves the team that came out of nowhere and says "I liked them all the time!!"
That's not me. But right now I do love the Orlando Magic. Did I think they would beat Cleveland? No. Not because of lack of talent, because of No. 23, and the Refs. that's all.
Seriously. I think the refs have fallen in love with James. So has David Stern. Those commercials with the puppet LeBron and Kobe were so dumb. I saw Dwight (the real MVP) Howard on ESPN say he thought those commercials were disrespectful to the Magic. Like it just was a formality that they would beat the Magic and face the Lakers.
Can you blame Howard for feeling that way? Maybe they should've waited til AFTER the Cavs actually made the Finals to start running those commercials.
How about James walking right off the court after they got crushed in game six? He said he was angry and didn't want to stick around? Why is the media not all over him for this? If the Magic blew the 3 games to 1 lead, got run off the court in game 7 in Cleveland, and Dwight Howard walked right off the court, you can bet he would be called a baby, immature, and host of other things.
Let's be honest. The Cavs stink. Yes they suck. If they returned the same roster next year, minus LeBron, they would be lucky to make the playoffs.....they might even be a lottery team.
So unlike everyone else who keeps reporting and asking "What happened to the Cavs?"
I say great job Orlando. You deserve it. Now really turn the NBA upside down and go win the NBA Championship!
