The Detroit Tigers haven't faired well against the Chicago White Sox in recent years. Neither has Justin Verlander. Both of those things seem to be changing.
The Tigers have takin 3 out of 4 so far in this 5 game series in Chicago, and tonight Justin Verlander was lights out.
Verlander (7-2) earned his 7th win by pitching a complete game six hitter, striking out 9, in a 2-1 Tigers win. Verlander is on fire!!!....No he is ON FIRE!!!! Verlander is 7-0 since starting 0-2 and his E.R.A. is a whopping 1.10. A throwback kinda guy who likes to pitch the whole game. I love it!
Throwing at nearly 100 mph right through his 122nd and final pitch Verlander was so good for so long that the White Sox couldn't believe what they had witnessed. The final strike looked like somethin you see on Playstation or X-Box. Windem up and let em go!! 99 MPH on the Radar.
Just like Mclain, Lolich, Morris,.....and the other greats before him, Verlander is on his way to being the dominate pitcher of this decade.

Justin Verlander has the competition looking over their shoulder when he's on the mound!
